LaVista Records, Inc., is an international record label that seeks artists from all over the world. Ask Pius what genre of music he likes to produce and he will tell you “bring me a hot artist with the right attitude – Japanese, Chinese, Indian, African, West Indian, Pop, R&B, Jazz, Rap. It’s on.”
LaVista Records sends representatives to US and international music conventions, festivals, and markets like MIDEM (Cannes France), Popkom (Germany), London Talking (UK) and many others to license catalogs to international distributors, retailers, digital download companies, and record labels interested in releasing our albums or singles on their compilation albums. At these events, our agents also actively seek international artists from several music genres including Pop, Rock, R&B, Reggae, Gospel, Hip Hop, House, Ethnic, and world music. |
LaVista Records is getting ready to hit the Hip-hop market with back-to-back compilation albums, mix tapes, solo and group albums that are absolutely out of this world. We take great care in creation and selection of beats for particular acts to make sure our beats reflect the image of individual rap artists. Our goal is to bring to the world unsurpassed hip-hop rhythms and rhymes. As a result, our production team takes great efforts to audition prospective artists.
After artists make it through the first round of the elimination process, our team put them through a rigorous pre-production process in which they are tested for timeliness, lyrical skills, ability to use different and appropriate rhyming styles for different types of beats as well as the ability to take constructive criticism. During this process, artists get the opportunity to record in our recording facilities to help us weed out egos and possible fly-by-nights. Artists who make it successfully through this rigorous testing, in our opinion, are destined for greatness and are the once our production team stick with. |
