Yaw Boakye Dankwa is a Ghanaian Gospel artist currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. LaVista Record’s Big Bang Productions recorded his new album, “ASEDA” at our DigiSonic Studio located in Woodstock, Georgia. The release date in the US was November 18th, 2006 and plans for a Ghanaian release are underway. The album is written in Asante, the language of the Ashanti people in Ghana and the music is the traditional Ghanaian Highlife, which is yet to be introduced to the US market. Yaw is an example of an independent artist who is doing it by himself with a little push from Pius Entertainment. Yaw is undoubtedly one of Ghana’s hottest gospel artists and has displayed a great deal of longevity in the Ghanaian recording industry.
