Sounds like Jah bless and makes you think he is perhaps a Reggae artist huh? And, Jermarco Abdullah, his birth name, is Islamic and yet J Bless is not a Moslem. He’s got you confused huh? Born to parents of African American heritage, J Bless is the quintessential black man who has it all. Talent like no one has seen before standing over six feet tall with a rugged look that appeals to the street and would distinguish him as a rapper. Yes, you got that right but only partially right. You only have to wait until J Bless hits the stage and start singing in an authentic R&B voice with a tonality as rich as what people with good ears for rhythm and blues would call one of the best of the best. Yes, J’s got it like that. One need not guess the effect he has on the ladies on stage. He definitely is the north pole of the magnet attracting women like pins to a one-ton magnet. Good thing J is not a disaster for if he was, he could marry Katrina and leave her for Tsunami.
After a performance, a pulley system on a crane is not enough to ply J Bless from these hungry and thirsty women who just can’t have enough of this “Blessing” of a man. I am sure you can hear the excitement in my voice as I write about J. Yes, J is like the modern, young Al Kelly with those sexy, romantic, and erotic edge that cut through pain and sorrow to bring joy and fun just like the sun cuts through the clouds after a rainy, cloudy day to bring light and hope. Oh, and did I mention he raps too. Yes. J Bless is indisputably one of the best of the best-unsigned rappers today. With a combination like that and the ability to write his own lyrics and even produce some of his own beats, J Bless is the man. Yes, the artist you want on your team. |
